Q1 ~ Week of Oct. 18-22

This week we are learning about food safety, particularly when working with raw chicken. Our lab this week is chicken fajitas, with a focus on knife skills and sanitation.

No school Monday for Thanksgiving day.

EGGS, EGGS, EGGS....this week we will be learning about egg farming in BC and the different functions eggs play in different recipes. Our lab this week is egg 'n cheese stackers.

Reminder to bring a sandwich size container and fork if you want to take your food with you after the lab on THURSDAY. I will provide paper plates for this lab as well.

This week we will be learning about growing regions in BC, particularly apples. We will be making apple oatmeal pancakes and focusing on stove safety and knife skills.
