As we move into one of our final weeks of exploratory classes, we will be cooking twice. Students are making lemon butter scones after watching a demo on Friday to go over the tricky components of this recipe. On Thursday we are making fettuccine alfredo with homemade garlic bread made with roasted garlic. This is a new lab for grade 8s and I'm confident they will enjoy making it. On Friday we will be reviewing important safety skills for working with chicken in preparation of our final lab next week, chicken stir fry.
There is a course reflection being completed this week, it will be sent home at the end of the course with student duotangs full of the lessons and recipes from the 9-week course. Comments are closed.
